The Nurse Anesthesia Program is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (222 South Prospect Avenue, Park Ridge, Illinois 60068-4001, phone: 847-655-1160) a specialized accrediting body recognized by the Council on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation. The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs are recognized as accreditation agencies by the U.S. Department of Education. The School of Nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education until 2019 and the Nurse Anesthesia Program is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs until 2013. The School of Nursing is also approved by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
