Notification of acceptance or denial of admission will be mailed to all applicants approximately four weeks after the Admission Examination.

An applicant who is notified of acceptance must return the acceptance form and $50 fee before the deadline indicated in their letter in order to reserve their spot in the class. If the admitted applicant has a need to delay enrollment until the following semester, the acceptance form and fee must be returned before the deadline with a written request for delayed enrollment and the rationale for the request, to reserve a spot in that class.

If an accepted applicant decides to withdraw their application, notification with a written rationale for the withdrawal must be received by the Student Affairs Office within two weeks of receipt of the acceptance letter. Failure to notify the Office of Student Affairs could jeopardize future attempts to apply for admission.

An applicant who is eligible but is notified of denied admission may send a written request (within two weeks of receipt of the denial letter) to have their application transferred for consideration with the next applicant group ONE TIME ONLY. The Student Affairs Office must be notified by email (nsstuaffairs@lsuhsc.edu) or letter (see mailing address above).

Thereafter, the denied or accepted applicant must complete a new application packet and submit another application fee.
