LSU Health Sciences Center School of Nursing will be participating in a Centralized Application Service for Nursing Programs (NursingCAS) beginning February 1, 2015 for spring 2016 semester. Applicants interested in applying to the Traditional BSN track for spring 2016 semester will apply online using the NursingCAS application. Traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing

LSU Health Sciences Center is located in New Orleans, LA. The faculty of the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center offers a three-year track of study leading to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. The program admits students in the fall and spring each year. Class size is limited and admission is very competitive. This program of study is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and is approved by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing. Our Traditional BSN degree track will prepare you for the NCLEX-RN licensure exam and a professional nursing career.

An applicant may attend any accredited college or university to fulfill the required pre-nursing courses. During the time the applicant is enrolled in the pre-nursing courses, a separate application for admission must be submitted to the Office of Student Affairs.
