Title: Providing High Quality Care for 3 Common Cardiac Diseases

Activity Description/Objective: This learning activity was designed to increase the knowledge of nurses caring for adults with heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and ischemic heart disease in all health care settings. The class will provide an interactive learning environment for the lecture and discussion of pathophysiology, health assessment, and evidence-based recommendations for the care of patients with these disease processes.

Target Audience: Registered Nurses who care for patients in any setting

Participants will earn 3.0 contact hours of continuing nursing education.

Louisiana State University HSC School of Nursing, Faculty Development Continuing Nursing Ed & Entrepreneurial Enterprise is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
