The NSTC Hospital lab and Simulation labs are equipped with:

Meti Adult Human Patient Simulator, Meti Pediatric Human Patient Simulator. That type of highly sophisticated simulation technology can provide respiratory gas exchange, anesthesia delivery, patient condition monitoring with real physiological clinical monitors. The simulator's cardiovascular, pulmonary and neurological characteristics and responses can be controlled by instructors and computer software. The simulator's ability to recognize and respond to specific drugs gives students knowledge of drug specificity, pediatric versus adult dosage, IV versus IM administration, drug allergy, side effects, toxicity. Students can be exposed a variety of conditions like anaphylaxis, cardiac arrest, MI, CHF, tension pneumothorax.

METIMan provides more realistic model-driven simulation. Wireless patient simulator built to withstand a wide variety of real-life simulation scenarios for nursing courses: Health Assessment, Foundations, Adult Health, Critical Care and Management. With automatic physiological responses METIMan provides opportunity for students to master assessment skills, management skills, communication skills, teamwork, and patient teaching skills. Easy to use learning features are designed for practice a variety of therapeutic and clinical interventions like defibrillation, needle decompression, nasal and oral intubation, swollen tongue.

Noelle and Baby Hal Maternal and Neonatal Birthing Simulators

Allows students to experience normal and pathological labor and delivery in a realistic learning setting.
