Scholarship
Application Submission Criteria
The CARE Program is pleased to offer ten- $10,000.00
scholarships through the Robert Wood Johnson New Careers in Nursing
Grant Program. Any CARE VIII student can apply for a Robert Wood
Johnson New Careers in Nursing Scholarship if the following criteria
have been met:
1. You are currently enrolled in courses at the
Sophomore I level and are in the CARE VIII class
that was admitted for fall 2008.
2. You have documentation of a completed Free
Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
in the LSUHSC Office of Student Financial
Aid for the academic year 2008-2009.
Please submit all
scholarship applications to Mrs. Karen Smith, Executive
Administrative Assistant. Mrs. Smith’s
office
location is on the 4th floor of the School
of Nursing, office 4D3. All applications
must be submitted by November
14, 2008. Only completed
applications will be considered for review
by the Scholarship Committee of the School
of Nursing.
