Programming a Secondary Infusion
To program a secondary infusion after starting the primary
infusion:
- Press the SCAN/CANCEL key or
the SCAN button
on the hand held scanner to scan the bar code on the secondary IV
container.
- Press the CHANNEL SELECT key on the appropriate
channel to display the primary infusion parameters.
- Press the SECONDARY soft key on the PC point-of-care
unit.
- Program the secondary infusion.
