About the Alaris®EtCO2 module

The Alaris® EtCO2 module can be used with both intubated and nonintubated patients. Microstream® technology requires only a small sample of 50 ml/min and eliminates the need for water traps. The disposables deliver the sample of exhaled gases directly from the patient (via an oral/nasal cannula) or from the ventilator disposable into the monitor for CO2 measurement. No operator intervention is required for routine moisture or condensate.
