Use this procedure to
restore an infusion with a new syringe, referring as necessary to
the more detailed procedures you learned earlier in the training:
1. On the Alaris® PCA module, unlock the
security door.
2. Remove the existing syringe and separate it from the administration
set.
3. Attach the administration set to the new syringe and load the
syringe in the PCA module.
4. On the Alaris® PC point-of-care unit, select
and confirm the syringe type and size.
