5. Lower the drive head and lock the plunger in place with the plunger
grippers.
- Twist the gripper control clockwise and hold it in position.
- While holding the gripper control in the open position and holding
the plunger of the syringe, gently lower the drive head until it
makes contact with the plunger flange.
- Gently release the gripper control.
- Ensure that the plunger grippers lock and hold the plunger in place.
