6. To change PCA pause limits, press an alarm limit soft key and enter a value within the acceptable range.

• The acceptable range for Guardrails® PCA Pause Protocol is configurable and defined by your hospital in the Guardrails® dataset.
• The PCA pause limits for %SpO2 Low and Respiratory Rate Low must be lower than the alarm limits set on the Alaris® SpO2 module and Alaris® EtCO2 module.

7. Press the CONFIRM soft key and continue PCA programming as usual.
