Responding to a Channel Disconnected Alarm

This alarm occurs if a module becomes disconnected while in operation. When this happens to the Alaris® PCA module:

1. Reattach the Alaris® PCA module.
2. Press the Confirm soft key to silence the alarm and clear the message.
3. Press the Channel Select key.
4. Select syringe type and size.
5. Press the Restore soft key.
6. Press the Next soft key to verify drug selection.
7. Press the Confirm soft key to verify programming parameters.
8. Lock the security door.
9. Press the Start soft key to begin infusion.
