Guardrails® Suite MXThe Guardrails® Suite MX for the Alaris® System brings a new level of medication error prevention to the point of patient care. The Guardrails® Suite MX features medication dosing, duration, and concentration limits, and optional initial programming guidelines for up to 15 patient-specific care areas, referred to as profiles. These limits are defined by a cross-functional team from your hospital based on your patients' needs, and are then transferred into the devices. The Guardrails® Suite MX acts as a second check to alert you when an infusion is programmed to be delivered outside these limits, thus helping to prevent an IV administration error before an infusion begins. |
