Powering the System On

In order to program an infusion, the Alaris® PC point-of-care unit must be powered on. Connect the unit to an external power source and press the SYSTEM ON key, located to the right of the Main Display. After you press the SYSTEM ON key:

  • A self-test runs.
  • The Main Display illuminates.
  • The attached channels are labeled A, B, C, or D, always reading from left to right.
