Tamper Resist Switch

If you need to limit access to the keypad panel, you may use the Tamper Resist Switch, located on the back of the Alaris® PC point-of-care unit.

To lock the keypad panel, press and hold the Tamper Resist Switch for three to four seconds. Your action is confirmed by an advisory tone and a three-second prompt on the Main Display that indicates the panel is locked or unlocked. Repeat this procedure to unlock the keypad panel.
