Alaris® System Advisories/Messages

An Advisory or Message is a sequence of audio and/or visual signals indicating the operating status of the Alaris® System. The audio may be silenced for approximately two minutes by pressing the SILENCE key on the Alaris® PC point-of-care unit.

The example pictured here is an Infusion Complete - KVO. When this particular message occurs you can either set up a new infusion or turn off the channel. Note that the green infusing light remains on because the infusion is still running at the KVO rate.
