Working with Attached Channels

When you select an attached channel, such as an Alaris® Pump module, the Main Display shows more detailed information about that channel.

In this example, the Title Bar indicates channel A is selected and a Guardrails® infusion has been programmed. The Channel Status area indicates the type, rate, VTBI, and dose of the infusion.

A parameter can only be entered or changed when its soft key is active. Soft keys become active and appear highlighted when they are pressed, as indicated with the VTBI soft key in the display on the right.
