Programming the Infusion Parameters

You now specify the parameters for the infusion. The screen defaults to a Volume/Duration infusion, but you can change it to a Rate/Volume infusion by pressing the RATE/VOLUME soft key.

VTBI is pre-populated from diluent volume, but you can press the VTBI soft key to change it. Based on your hospital's guidelines, an initial starting duration may also be pre-populated. You can press the DURATION soft key to change it.
