Confirming or Selecting a Patient and Profile

When you power on the Alaris® PC point-of-care unit, you are asked if the programming is for a NEW PATIENT?

• Yes clears previous patient data.
• No retains any patient information that has been stored in the system for the past eight hours.

After this you confirm or select a Profile.

• Yes confirms the same Profile.
• No enables you to select a new Profile from your hospital defined list.

You then press the CHANNEL SELECT key on the module to be programmed.
