Promoting a Basic Infusion to Guardrails® Suite MX Protected Infusion

At any time, you can promote a basic infusion to a Guardrails® Suite MX protected infusion by doing the following:

1. Press the CHANNEL SELECT key on the module running the basic infusion to be promoted.
2. Press the OPTIONS key.
3. Press the Guardrails Drugs soft key.
4. Continue programming using the procedure you learned in Topic 1: Guardrails® continuous infusion.
