Removing and Reloading a Set

To remove an administration set:

1. Press the Pause key on the Alaris® Pump module.
2. Close the roller clamp.
3. Open the Alaris® Pump module door, which automatically closes the safety clamp* on the pumping mechanism.
4. Remove the safety clamp on the pumping mechanism by gently pulling out the tubing below the Air-in-Line Detector.
5. Lift the upper fitment from its recess.

Reload the set in the same manner you load a new one, except that the safety clamp on the pumping mechanism will already be closed to prevent free flow.
