Alaris® Syringe module Alarms
There are several alarms you might encounter when using the Alaris® Syringe module:
- Syringe Empty - If the syringe is not empty, ensure
that the correct pressure sensing disc is installed and operating,
or that syringe plunger movement is not impeded.
- Channel Disconnected - Ensure that channel is
firmly attached. If alarm is still present, replace the channel with
one that is operational.
- Check Syringe - Ensure that syringe is properly
loaded and plunger grippers and barrel clamp are securely in place.
- Pressure Disc Installed - Confirm and restart
the infusion.
- Pressure Disc Removed - Reinsert disc and restart
the infusion.
