Auto Syringe Size Identification enables the system to automatically detect the syringe size and lists the syringe types and sizes that most closely match the installed syringe.

Your hospital can establish a list of favorite or most commonly used syringes to narrow the syringe selection list. If a supply shortage should occur, you can select ALL SYRINGES to expand the list.

Always ensure the displayed syringe manufacturer and size correctly identifies the installed syringe. Mismatches can cause an under-infusion or over-infusion to the patient that can result in serious injury and/or death.
