Bio

Ashley Gilchrist is a doctorally prepared family nurse practitioner serving as clinical faculty at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing. She specializes in aesthetic medicine, pain management, and physical medicine and rehab-spine. She has spent most of her career in clinical practice both in private practice and the hospital-clinic setting.

Ashley completed her Bachelor of Science-Nursing in 2012 through LSUHSC’s School of Nursing CARE Program and went on to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2017 as a Family Nurse Practitioner through LSUHSC. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology which she completed through the University of New Orleans in 2009.

During her time at LSUHSC, Ashley was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She also holds certification in aesthetic medicine for neuromodulator and dermal filler injection.

In addition to her work as an advanced practice nurse, Ashley holds a remote leadership position with My Face Lady as Director of Operations, where she oversees the day to day operations for 150+ injectors and staff. Although different from clinical practice, this position has given her valuable experience in effective leadership and business management.

When she is not fulfilling her professional obligations, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, Will, and children, Hadley and Colt. She very much enjoys family time traveling and being outdoors grilling, hanging out by the pool, and making new memories.
