Hi, my name is Dr. Erica Love. I graduated from LSU Health Sciences Center with a doctoral degree as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in May 2020. Since graduating I have been working as a provider in Neurocritical Care ICU. I am a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. I am also certified as a critical care registered nurse. Before I became a provider, I was an ICU nurse for nine years. I have worked in SICU, MICU, CCU, and Neuro ICU as a registered nurse. Before becoming a nurse, I was a Respiratory Therapist for ten years. I have accepted a position at LSU as full time Clinical Nursing Instructor for the Nurse Practitioner program. Being a Nurse Practitioner allows me to fulfil my calling of taking care of others.
