Pediatric Delirium in critical care settings, Congenital Heart Defects, and Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care


Dr. Jaron Allen is an Instructor of Clinical Nursing and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care.  He earned his Doctorate of Nursing Practice from LSUHSC in 2022, his Bachelors of Nursing Science from Louisiana State University - Alexandria in May 2018, and his Associates Degree in Nursing from Pearl River Community College in Dec 2013.  Before becoming a nurse he was a Nationally Registered EMT-B.  He is Board Certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care.


Dr. Allen’s nursing experience includes working in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care  as a nurse practitioner, as well as nursing in pediatric cardiac critical care, pediatric intensive care, neonatal intensive care, and adult cardiothoracic surgery care.  He maintains certification as a Critical Care Registered Nurse - Pediatrics.
