Dr. Liv Dinoso currently serves as the Director for the Articulation RN to BSN program here at LSUHNO School of Nursing and course coordinator for the HLSC 3410RN Pathophysiology course.  She teaches in the Adult Health Nursing cohort and HLSC 2416RN and HLSC 2417RN Health Assessment courses.  

She has a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), a post-Masters certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Public Health Administration from the University of South Alabama (USA) in Mobile, Alabama.  Also, she is an LSU alumni having obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. 

Dr. Dinoso is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and is a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA), Louisiana State Nurses Association (LSNA), New Orleans District Nursing Association (NODNA), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and Sigma Theta Tau International.

Dr. Dinoso began her career as a nurse in medical-surgical nursing then transitioned to the emergency department.  From there, she became a clinical nurse educator coordinator for over 165 clinics for Ochsner Health system until becoming a nurse practitioner and serving in an internal medicine clinic.  

She is currently published in the area of Human Genetics, and her research interests include hypertension, patient treatment compliance, health literacy, nursing articulation, and on-line education.
