Stephanie Bush, MSN, APRN, CCRN, CPNP-AC

Stephanie Bush is an acute care pediatric nurse practitioner in the cardiac intensive care unit at Children’s Hospital of New Orleans and is an Adjunct Faculty member at LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from LSUHSC School of Nursing in 1998. She then earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in 2007 with the completion of the Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program.

Ms. Bush has been caring for critically ill pediatric patients with a focus on congenital heart disease since 2002. She earned her CCRN in 2004 and is a member of AACN as well as SCCM. She earned her Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification in 2007 and has managed the pre and postoperative care of complex congenital cardiac patients since then.

Ms. Bush was selected as one of the Great 100 Nurses in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2008. She was also a member of the Hartley’s Hearts medical mission to Paraguay in 2011 helping save the lives of several underprivileged children with congenital cardiac defects.
