Mrs. Nikki Pavlish is an instructor at Louisiana State University Health School of Nursing.  She received her Bachelor of Nursing from University of Alabama Capstone College of Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from University of Alabama Capstone College of Nursing. She is currently certified as a Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) and Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN).  

Mrs. Pavlish is an instructor for critical care and leadership and is a coordinator for gerontology in the undergraduate nursing program.  She is the chair for the technology committee, faculty advisor for undergraduate students, and a dedicated nurse to critical care.  She has been practicing in the various intensive care units (ICUs) for over eleven years.  She has a passion for the surgical ICU and has worked in the Neuro ICU, CVICU, MICU, and CICU.  She has been an ICU educator at Tulane Hospital and worked as Adjunct faculty at Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pa.  

Mrs. Pavlish’s research interests include IPE, critical care, patient satisfaction and outcomes, education using a tele-platform, and telemedicine.  She has been nominated for the daisy award in 2017 and is a member and volunteer of several nursing and non-profit organizations in New Orleans.
