     Randy Rosamond is a pediatric nurse educator having worked as a pediatric and neonatal intensive care nurse, prior to working as faculty at LSUHSC SON where she teaches and coordinates: Child Health Nursing Theory and Practicum and Complementary and Alternative Therapies in Nursing Practice.  Her current academic focus is on pediatric health in the community with a strong interest in developing programs to support children and their families in reaching their health and well being potential.

     She has a strong interest in holistic nursing having applied its concepts and theories to her practice and is currently becoming certified in Holistic Nursing, Healing Touch and Mind Body Stress Management.
