Bio
Saundra Blake, MSN, RN is a dedicated nurse with 14 years of nursing experience, 7 years teaching experience, and a passion for empowering the next generation of nurses. Mrs. Blake's clinical background includes Pediatrics and Psych-Mental Health. She was previously an Assistant Professor; leading pediatric courses in both ASN and BSN programs. She has completed presentations in various areas including cultural competence and inclusivity in nursing education. In 2025, she was nominated for Educator of the Year at NSU’s College of Nursing and School of Allied Health. She currently teaches and coordinates multiple courses on the OCIS Shreveport campus for the accelerated CARE BSN program. She is committed to bettering nursing education and strives to inspire and empower the future of healthcare.
