Jennifer Couvillon, RN-BC, PhD, CNE

Dr. Jennifer Couvillon is an Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Nursing from Georgetown University, and a Doctor of Philosophy from Duquesne University.
Dr. Couvillon is ANCC certified as a RN-BC in System Nursing Professional Development. She is also a Certified Nurse Educator and certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Dr. Couvillon serves as a National League for Nursing Ambassador, a Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education site evaluator trainer, and a legal nurse consultant.
Dr. Couvillon serves as a course faculty member in the areas of nursing research and nursing education for the doctoral program at LSUHSC School of Nursing. She serves as the coordinator of continuing nursing education at Ochsner Health System.
Dr. Couvillon has experience as a critical care nurse and a legal nurse consultant. She has also served as a committee member on Doctor of Nursing Science dissertations. Her research interests include nursing education and curriculum development.
