SNA Members Participate in Local Habitat for Humanity Build
On Saturday, November 21st, 2009, twenty members of the Student Nurses' Association along with three School of Nursing faculty members participated in a Habitat for Humanity Build in Harvey, LA. New Orleans area Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that builds homes for disadvantaged families. SNA members helped install insulation in homes as well as help lay sod outside of several homes. The event was a great success! Everyone had a great time helping give back to our community! Special thanks to nursing faculty Pat Davis for providing coffee and donuts for all!
