Bio
Colette Baudoin PhD, MSN, RN, OCN, CNE is an instructor in the Adult Health course at LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Louisiana State University School of Nursing in 1989 and her Master’s in Science of Nursing from Nicholls State University in 2018 and her PhD at Louisiana State University School of Nursing in 2024. Dr. Baudoin is a Certified Nurse Educator and Oncology Certified Nurse and most currently has worked as the Oncology Nurse Educator and Quality and Safety nurse at a local hospital. She is the Faculty Liaisaon for the School of Nursing for IPECP. She serves as the President of the New Orleans Oncology Nurses’ Association and President of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society Epsilon Nu at Large. Her research interests and focus are on the oncology patient population, student education, and end-of-life care. Past experiences include working in not only oncology, but also home health and pediatric nursing.
