Bio

Carol Lineberry is an Instructor of Clinical Nursing at LSU Health-New Orleans School of Nursing, co-teaching Adult Health Nursing beginning in Spring 2023. Originally from southeast Michigan, Dr. Lineberry received an Associate of Applied Science Degree from Ferris State University in 1995. She then began her nursing education in August, 2003, earning her Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with honors in August, 2009, from Oakland Community College. Dr. Lineberry went on to complete her Masters of Science in Nursing Education in 2013 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2020, both from Walden University. 

Dr. Lineberry has extensive nursing experience in Critical Care, working the majority of her career in the Intensive and Post-Anesthesia Care Units. Furthermore, she has served as Co-Chair of the Nursing Quality Excellence Committee at the University of Michigan and played an integral part in the conversion of the in-person Nursing Poster Day event to a virtual one, due to Covid-19 restrictions in 2021. Since joining LSU, Dr. Lineberry has accepted the role as Secretary of the Epsilon Nu at Large chapter of Sigma Theta Tau (STT) International Honor Society of Nursing.
