Bio

Kristen Ramsey is an Instructor at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans School of Nursing.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Louisiana State University School of Nursing.  She received her Master of Science in Nursing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama School of Nursing. She received her Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the Pediatric Nurse Certification Board in January 2011.

Mrs. Ramsey serves as course faculty for Child Health Nursing Theory and Practicum.

Mrs. Ramsey has clinical experience in Neonatal intensive care and pediatric endocrinology as a registered nurse. She also has experience in pediatric endocrinology as a nurse practitioner.

Mrs. Ramsey is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Diabetes Educators.
