Bio

Rebecca Trainor is an instructor of nurse anesthesia at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing in New Orleans. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. She received a Master in Nursing with specialization in Nurse Anesthesia from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, and she also received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. Dr. Rebecca Trainor is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. 

Dr. Trainor serves as a course faculty member of the nurse anesthesia program as well as a clinical advisor, where she specializes in pediatric anesthesia. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Anesthetists. She is certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. 

Dr. Trainor has received several honors and awards, which include the Director’s Award for outstanding accomplishments in scholarship and education, and the Dolores H. Scheerle Memorial Entrepreneurial Award for outstanding entrepreneurial leadership qualities.
