Disabling the Guardrails® PCA Pause Protocol

To disable the Guardrails® PCA Pause Protocol without disabling monitoring:

1. Press the CHANNEL SELECT key on the PCA module
2. Press the OPTIONS key.
3. Press the PCA Pause Limits soft key.
4. Press the Disable SpO2 and/or Disable EtCO2 soft key.
5. Press the CONFIRM soft key.
6. Press the START soft key.

The Guardrails® PCA Pause Protocol can be enabled using this same procedure and pressing the Enable SpO2 and/or Enable EtCO2 soft key.
