Indicators, Displays, and Keys
The Alaris® PCA module has the following indicators, displays,
and keys:
- Alarm (red), Infuse (green),
and Standby (yellow) status indicators illuminate
as needed.
- Rate Display indicates the infusion rate in mL/h
when a continuous infusion is running.
- Channel Message Display, provides additional
information about the infusion, alarms, and alerts.
- Channel Identification identifies the channel
as A, B, C, or D.
- Channel Select Key selects the channel for infusion
parameter entry and setup.
- Pause Key temporarily stops infusion on the channel.
- Channel Off Key stops infusion and deselects the
channel.
- Restart Key resumes operation of a paused or alarmed
infusion.
