SatSeconds™ Alarm Management

The SatSeconds™ Feature is an alarm management tool that controls the time that the %SpO2 level may fall outside the alarm limit before going into an alarm state.

The method of calculation is: The number of percentage points (Points) that the %SpO2 falls outside of the alarm limit multiplied by the number of seconds (Seconds) that the %SpO2 level remains outside that limit.

Points x Seconds = SatSeconds

A bar on the SpO2 Main display shows the SatSeconds status.
