SatSeconds™ Feature

Here is an example of the SatSeconds™ Feature:

The SpO2 low alarm limit is set at 90. The patient's SpO2 level drops to 88 (2 points) and remains there for a period of 15 seconds (2 points x 15 seconds = 30 SatSeconds). If the SatSeconds™ Alarm limit is set at 25, an alarm will occur. If the patient's SpO2 improves before the 25 SatSeconds™ Alarm limit is reached, no alarm will occur.
