Loading the Syringe

To load a syringe:

1. Ensure that the device is as close to the level of the patient as possible (patient should be in line with the CHANNEL SELECT key).
2. Open the syringe barrel clamp.
3. Raise the drive head to its fully extended position by twisting the gripper control clockwise.
4. Insert the syringe (from the front of the instrument) by sliding the flat edge of the syringe barrel flange between the barrel flange grippers.
5. Lock the syringe in place by closing the barrel clamp.
6. Lower the drive head and lock the plunger in place with the plunger grippers.
