CAE Adult & Pediatric HPS Anesthesia Simulators

Practice respiratory and critical care training with the CAE Human Patient Simulator (HPS). Known for its realism, CAE HPS is the only simulator on the market today that provides true respiratory gas exchange, meaning it can respond to real anesthetic gasses, oxygen therapy and medications. Available in two configurations (adult and pediatric), CAE HPS delivers simulation so real that its lungs can consume oxygen and produce carbon dioxide. This high-fidelity simulator can also flow trigger or pressure trigger a ventilator to cycle and may be configured to display respiratory distress or agitation toward the ventilator. Other key features include:

  • Eyes, ears, and mouth secretions to detect trauma
  • Range of motion in the wrists, elbows, knees, and ankles
  • Ability to interface with real clinical monitors and ventilators
  • Left-arm blood-pressure management by auscultation and palpation

CAE Apollo Adult Simulators (nursing and pre-hospital models)

CAE Lucina Maternal Birthing Simulators

CAE Lucina delivers an all-in-one simulation experience. Designed to demonstrate both gravid and non-gravid scenarios, this wireless manikin comes with a fetus to teach proper prepartum, labor, delivery and postpartum care as well as a non-gravid abdomen for clinical situations unrelated to maternity. Integrated with maternal-fetal physiological modeling, CAE Lucina automatically reacts to medical interventions; the baby cries upon delivery and senses the amount of force applied to its neck. CAE Lucina supports pregnancy conditions such as breech delivery, shoulder dystocia, and postpartum hemorrhage.
