Transfer Credit
The transfer credit below displays the avenue needed to obtain a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) or graduate degree from LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing. The applicant must complete 43 hours of pre-requisite course work at any accredited college or university before applying to the CARE Program. Once the student obtains their BSN they must pass the licensing exam to practice as a Registered Nurse. RNs then return to the School of Nursing to receive a graduate degree.
Beginning Fall 2018 semester, Abnormal Psych and Statistics 300/3000 level or above may be transferred if a grade of “C” or better is achieved.
