Prospective Students

Transfer Credit

The transfer credit below displays the avenue needed to obtain a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) or graduate degree from LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing. The applicant must complete 34 hours of pre-requisite course work at any accredited college or university before applying to the School of Nursing. Once the student obtains their BSN they must pass the licensing exam to practice as a Registered Nurse. RNs then return to the School of Nursing to receive a graduate degree.

Beginning Fall 2018 semester, Abnormal Psych and Statistics 300/3000 level or above may be transferred if a grade of “C” or better is achieved.
