Objectives

• To increase nurses’ knowledge of cultural competency, racial and ethnic health disparities, and challenges faced by vulnerable populations during the disaster cycle.


• To increase nurses’ ability to deliver linguistically and culturally competent nursing care during the disaster cycle.


• To increase nurses’ access to cutting edge technologies, information-enhancing critical thinking skills via reflective discussion, role play, and case presentations in an interactive online environment.
